in my 01 im installing aftermarket headunit and im now trying to hook up the antenna adapter, but i dont know where to hook up the extra blue wire that is supposed to power the antenna adapter. can someone please help me do this. Thanks

Adapter wire that im not sure if i use it to clip it somewhere or ill just cut that off and tap that wire into a 12v source

Im sorry if i mightve confused you so let me clarify,
if you look at the picture of the power antenna adapter, at the end of the blue wire is a metal clip like thing.
i cannot see a place to clip that thing into, so should i just cut that clip off so i can tap that wire into a 12v source?

you hook up the blue wire from the antenna. just cut it off and connnect it. i put a male spade on mine so it just slid right in to the pioneer remote wire, but any connection will do. just make sure it is insulated, or bye bye radio! hope this helps.
