Those with Neuspeed (or Borla) exhausts -- Have you removed the inner exhaust tips?

Those with Neuspeed (or Borla) exhausts -- Have you removed the inner exhaust tips?
If you did, how did you do it, how easy was it, and what differences have you noticed since?

From what I hear...
it is not a great idea to do it, nubmer 1. is that the chrome tips will dis-colour from the heat,number 2. the tone will actually be different.
And from the way mine is with the tips intact even that ain't great.
But yea it would look better without the inner tips!
