I use warm water, lambs wool and lots of patience. Plastic is difficult.

Default Paint Cleaning Clay works great on glass/chrome/etc....

I used Clay to remove overspray from my previous car and it worked great on the whole car, paint, glass, chrome, everything but the plastic-rubber trim. As a bonus, it removed most of the hard water spots on my rear window and portions of the windshield that the wipers miss.

Default Griot's has glass polish

it works pretty well.

I also talked to another detailer, and he suggesting using white vinegar and cheap toothpaste...

Also, be sure to follow up your cleaning with a good coat of something like STP VisionBlade. Lasts 6-12 months, vs. 2-3 weeks with Rain-X.

Default One Grand's Plastic Polish & Conditioner is 'sposed to be good, like for convertible rear windows.

I use it on the interior, for which it's also recommended.
