For those who have had a B3 20v quattro and now own B5' with either 1.8t or 2.8......

Got a B5 Avant with the factory sport suspension, seats etc and having had.............
B3 20V's, B3 10V's, 4kq's and a urq I find the current B5 the most pleasing well balanced of the bunch. I have a 2.8 30V and my son has a 1.8t and having to work on both of them I prefer the 30V over the 20V (unless you are into grabbing extra power by tuning it). They are all good cars and all have their special good points and if I decide to turn my E30 BMW into a garage queen I will be looking for another B5 Avant (maybe B6 but nothing newer)

as is my 2.8 30V. 166k and other than routine t-belt stuff it runs beautifully. I have gone through one maf and a few plugs though
