Default Those who have had salvage yards ship me MAF's for Stage 3 conversion please read

Yesterday I received 7ea of the 471A MAF's suitable for conversion to Stage 3. Three of the MAF's have no buyers name anywhere inside the box but rather list my name as the buyer and ship-to address.

Please contact me if you had a MAF sent from a salvage yard directly to me and identify the salvage yard you purchased from so I have a name to attach to these.

Thank you

Much less restriction. Noticable improvement in power.

Default Thanks Michael... and in the case of the 30V MAF this is the side by side comparison...

the advantage is flow. The stock 30V MAF has a net I.D of just under 2" with it's flat section and sampling tube. The Stage 3 has a 3.1" I.D. with tapered walls which allow it to flow over 50% more air and at a significant increase in velocity. Coupled with a MAF inlet velocity stack the net increase is somewhere in the +20HP range, increased MPG (when you can keep your foot out of it) and much better throttle response thruout the RPM range and the car idles smoother.

Default Stage 3 is only relative to the MAF and not any other tuner's kit(s)...

it's related to it's 3rd revision and it's 3"+ internal I.D. and nothing more. Can be a stand-alone mod or used in conjunction with other modifications for even more benefit.

Requires a different MAF from a salvage yard which you buy then send to me. At that point I offer an exchange for Stage 3 after I receive your salvage yard core. All told with salvage yard core, internal velocity stack, shipping costs the price will hover in the $350 range.
