I want to upgrade the headlights on my '98 2.8 to the xenons with the euro housings, I am aware I have to grind down the fenders. What I dont understand is do I have to order the Euro housing seperatly from the xenons, or do they come together in a package? And is the housings the s4 housings? Also WHERE do I order this stuff from for a good price? thanks for your input

You first order the Euro housings.....halogen or xenon style. Xenon style cost more ($450) than the halogens ($300). Once you have the housings, and you want to upgrade to xenon lights, you then have to buy the xenon ballast and bulb kit from PHilips (around $500 for a pair). Then you will have real xenon lights. If you aren't looking to spend that much, just buy the Euro halogen housings, and you won't need to buy anything more.

You will first need to decide if you want factory ballasts in your Euro's or if you want to go with aftermarket ballasts. I am not certain on this because I don't know the price of factory ballasts, but I would think it is cheaper to get the A4 housings and go with an aftermarket HID kit.
Phillips seems to be the number one choice around here, but I would personally go with the Vision kit sold at Lltek because the wires are thinner so you can maneuver the ballast, rather than one huge wire that is a pain to bend. Also, the Vision kit has wires that are very long. They are so long that my friend with this kit was able to put the ballasts behind the 2nd firewall. It is much easier to find a place to mount the ballast here than in the engine bay. The Vision kit is more expensive though.
