Those of you with APR chips...is there any indicators inside the ECU that its chipped...sticker?

Default Those of you with APR chips...is there any indicators inside the ECU that its chipped...sticker?
A dealer I know may have a trade in with a chip, and they said I could swap the ECU for my wife's OEM one (they don't want to sell a used car that is chipped, or AoA may get on their back). Is there a sticker or any other way to tell that the ECU is chipped besides driving it?

Long story why I can't drive it or put it in my car to drive it.

there is the chip board...which will have the reprogramming slot

unless the dealershipe opes up the top of the chip?can they tell the ur car is chipped just by drivi

Default Yes! If you leave it in 1bar mode. It is a performance chip.
Why would anyone pay for a performance chip that didn't enhance performance. Any qualified tech would be able to tell that there is a chip solely from the turbo whine itself.

They don't even have to drive it, just rev it up and see where the red line is.
