As for now i am putting Eibach's on the factory sport shocks. I was reading the FAQ on in the Tech section on how to do it and i got confused on the part about how you have to make sure the two bolts in the top spring perch that hold the control arm assembly must be positioned 11 degrees +/- 2 from the lower spring perch. Can someone elaborate on this a bit?? Also why do the instructions in the Tech section differ a bit from the ones on the bently A4 factory repair manual CD?? Which ones should i follow??
All help is appreciated

Thanks

The top spring perch has to be properly aligned, otherwise the upper control arms won't line up correctly when putting them back in the car. When you pull the entire assembly out, just pay close attention to the orientation of the control arms to the rest of the shock assembly. If you take careful note of the position, when you reassemble everything, it'll go back together perfectly aligned.
