Those of you with GIAC stage 1 and Tip chip, is the tip chip worth it?

I bought an automatic so I wouldn't have to worry about shifting, but I went ahead and got the tip chip with the ECU chip anyways. They said I'd notice a difference even in full auto mode. I don't think I did, but in tip mode there is a difference.

I have the same setup but with a supersprint exhaust system. I really dont notice much difference to tell you the truth, some yes, but nothing to really mention. I mostly drive in tip mode anyways b/c its hard to get that 4 banger to move sometimes and especially if you're not in the right gear

who know the difference & there is a difference? 1 more thing chipped with tipchip is a must bcause its helps smooth out shifts from xtra power from the chip & will prolong trans life these facts alone make it worth it

i would get a tip chip and the giac chip at the same time. it's cheaper and i think at that price it is worth the money.
the tip chip does have a noticable difference in tip mode but a little less in auto mode. i think this is because it shifts earlier anyways and the lower engine rpm's masks it's quicker shifts.
the reason why i recommend getting both at the same time is because i don't think the price of a tip chip seperately is worth it - it doesn't make $300 of diff, but it does make $200 diff. does that make sense?
those aren't the real prices of the tip chip - i've forgotten how much it was. but since you're in the market for an ecu and tip chip - get both. you won't go wrong that way.
