why water? antifreeze contains anti-corrosive agents that protect the cooling system.

Default Agreed..

I'd consider increasing the water-G12 ratio. But going straight water might be a little too far.

Default Because Anti-Freeze makes the coolant less effective

the more anti-freeze you run the hotter the car will run...plain and simple.

If you want lower temps try Red Line Water Wetter...it does work. Lots of guys (racers) run pure water with water wetter. All water wetter does IIRC is reduce surface tension so that the water can come into more intimate contact with the cooling system components thus transfering more heat, I think it's basically a soap like material.

No-no. We use anti-freeze for a reason. :-)

Default I wouldn't do all water, you need to find the proper ratio....

I can't find any specific references but I believe that antifreeze also will increase your boiling point vs water alone.

Default That's why I said for the summer.

Water works better to cool the engine. You just have to remember to drain it before the weather gets cold.
