Default I changed all four rotors and pads at the same time I added more open 17" wheels so

I don't know whether any single change is more responsible for lessening the 'wet braking issue'. I do know now that it is lessened I ain't going to experiment by going backwards!

If the stock brakes worked well for you which they did for me, I would highly recommend Mintex Red Box replacement pads. The only thing I did not like about the original pads was the dust--two days of driving and the fronts were black. The Mintex are identical to the originals in feel and bite, but hardly any dust and no noise. I can go three weeks and the wheels still look dust free. Got them from www.germanautoparts.com and my Audi dealer happily installed them. Some people recommend other more exotic pads for autocross, etc. but for normal driving--I wouldn't give them up for any price.
