Timing Belt Job...much harder with an automatic?

My 97 1.8T is an auto, so the timing belt instructions are going to vary a little bit from the write ups in the Tech section....my question is HOW much will they vary and will it be significantly more difficult with the automatic tranny cooler and lines in front of the radiator and stuff (I think?).
Personal experiences would be great, thanks!

The transmission cooling lines are the only real difference. 1 10mm bolt holds each one on the radiator, but they are usually quite stubborn about coming out. Take the lower bolt out first as it also fastens the upper hose in place with a little metal bracket. I cut the fingers off a latex glove and wrapped the ends of the cooling lines up and then sealed them with rubber bands to keep fluid from draining out. Refilling the A4 auto trans ia a major pain in the a$$ so you don't want to lose any fluid if you don't have to. Though I'd recommend a trans fluid change every 30k miles or so anyway (you'll see why when you get a look at the fluid).
Good luck.
Good luck.
