Default Timing belt replacment / loud whine

I just had the timing belt replaced and now the engine sounds whiney and loud when it idles and when I rev it. Is this normal while i'm breaking the new belt in?

Default Could be a bearing due to an over tightened belt or bearing that was going to fail and the new belts

and the tension just caused it make it self known.

Default Belt too tight causing slots to be farther apart and slightly misaligned assuming no bearing...

or tensioner problems. Not good if too tight.

Is it worth taking it back for this? Think they'll charge me?

Default You should, they shouldn't charge more. Unless they charge you for tensioners which are a good idea

to replace.
