tinE sound coming from under valve cover?

tinE sound coming from under valve cover?
Anyone have an idea what it could be? Sounds like the chain possibly. Definitely doesn't sound good. Can't hear when inside the car just outside when i rev it from under the hood. Any idears would be greatly appreciated.

Is this a big problem? How much is involved with removing the chain and fixing this? When fixing this what things should I replace if it is the problem? Im sure im gonna have to take off the valvecover to really identify the problem but it does sound like the chain is rubbing. So im going to need a new valve cover gasket? Chain? adjuster(s)? Im a pretty new audi owner so I haven't dug into it much yet.
