Default Pay someone to do it.

Tinting is an art. And it comes out like complete *** the first times you do it.. many.. many times.

Default Agree - look for installers who use Llumar or 3M. Also...

One hint to find good local installers is to call your local MB dealer and ask to speak with the 'fleet' salesperson or the service manager. Ask him/her where they recommend to get windows tinted locally. Turns out (in the NYC area anyways) that many limo companies get the S series tinted upon delivery from the dealer and they don't want to screw up a new $150k car with some crappy tint job.

Good Luck.

Default I wish tinted windows were legal in NJ

I loved the way my red Firebird looked with 20% all around. The cops also loved to pull me over for it. I gave in and removed the passenger window tint and left the hatch tinted, for inspection. I'd love to have my A4 tinted, but I don't need the harassment and I'm not paying some local greasy slob $100 for an inspection sticker. Is tint illegal in alot of other states?
