I have something that bothers me slighlty - at an angle you I can see a tiny dent on my the front passenger door of my car, but when I try to feel it (by moving my finger through the area - I don't feel any damage) - is it possible that it came from a factory like that ? My Dad says I'm too obsessed because he doesn't think it's a dent. My question - is it possible to have a small paint flaw from the factory ?

My flaw is what appears to be a major 4" long paint drip. Like yours, when I run my hand over the area, I feel nothing. Is it possible that it's under the clear coat? Duh, of course it is.

I too have a similar paint drip on my 96A4Q, but I have two of them!!! I showed them to the dealer and he told me that it is simply some of the clearcoat that has dripped.. Best of all, the dealer is going to fix them for free!!
