I once saw a kit to make a '97 auto trans into a tiptronic. The kit included the shifter itself, chip and necessary elec hookups. I have since lost track of where I saw this and seeing as how I sold my manual '98 328 and now want to tinker with the A4 I thought that would be a good place to start.....not as fun, but good for SoCal bumper to bumper.

I hear ya about "SoCal bumper to bumper". Still wish I'd bought manual though "tip" just doesn't do it.
