Tire question for the morning bunch

Now that I've pretty much decided on what wheels to put on my 2001 A4 1.8T,Q, stock suspension, it is time to pick a tire. I'll be getting a 5 spoke wheel(Modas or MMs) in a 17" and putting on 225/45 tires. I'm not looking for the best handling tire in the world but something drastically better then the Eagle LS 205/60/15s they are replacing. I want a smooth and quiet ride, will be keeping the stock suspension and need good wet handling. What does everyone recommend? I hear good things about the Dunlop SP 5000, but Tirerack doesn't have them in my size. Do they come in a 225/45/17? Also, would the S-03 Pole Positions be more tire then I need? I could call Eddie and ask him but I thought I'd start with the AW folks. Thanks and have a great Thanksgiving.
