Default Tire Size for 2001 Audi A4

Dose anybody know what size tires will fit on an A4. I just bought tires and rims that are size 245-45 17 99H. Will these fit on my A4 without any rubbing? Tirerack recommends size 225.

you will rub... 235 is usually the widest you can go without having to roll fenders or rubbing

225/45/17 will give you the correct rolling diameter for the correct MPH/odometer readings.

if it's the OEM 17" RS4 Type wheels, then they're actually +43mm offset.

The wheels are off of a 2005 A6 and are definately 245/45 17 99H ET45.

Default it's 2.8% off from stock size. check the tire size calculator that I linked. I wouldn't run them.
