Default

means he wants to wear out his pads and have his rotors crack next time they heat up

Default They cut slots in the rotors, end of story

Personally, plain rotors are just fine for me.

ECS won't do it So I am doing custom coleman's

And no, they don't crack when hot(WTF?)

Default Some of the better ones are functional but you're basically trading pad life for pad life

IE, increased pad life under track stress for decreased pad life on the street.

The ricer rotors do crack, though.

Default I think you are confusing slotting with cross drilling, which has a lot of problems if run more than

a few track days - some of them that is. I had a set of big reds with the Porsche cross drilled rotors and had them cryo frozen, Those rotors did 30,000 miles of hard driving w/track days and didnt crack or have any problems. The set before (not frozen) lasted 1 track day and 1000 miles after. I have never had a problem with diagonally slotted rotors frrozen or not (the cryo treatment make a big diff. on rotors.

Default Although not a two piece, PureMS has 312mm slotted rotors

available with their Stg. 1 BBK. I would assume Mike could get them by themselves.

http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=810
