Default TP Roll Bar Review

Solution Install TP Roll Bar

Details:

I received my TP Roll Bar for AP (Audi Plumbing)via UPS ground on Monday. It is a very well built kit. The Brackets are CNC'd aluminum which were prototyped by laying everything out on the floor of Home Depot. The Roll Bar itself is a solid billet of aluminum, and it is sized to accomodate either single or double rolls. Grade 3 aluminum fasteners hold the Roll Bar on the armrest, and the whole kit is quite secure, it's not going anywhere.

I did have a slight problem during my first week. At speed I opened the sunroof, and the active end of the roll was swept out of the car, follwed by 400 yards of quilted double ply!

I was quite embarrased, and the motorcycle cop behind me was really annoyed.

I contacted Audi Plumbing, and they suggested using some Dual layer Universal Coaxial Tensioning (DUCT) tape to prevent the roll from unwinding. So far that has worked well

All in all I highly reccomend this mod!

Here's a Pic from AP's website:
