This may be strange but I had to ask!
Does anyone from a cold start backing out of the garage ever here a sound seeming to start from mid car working its way to the back sounding like a toilet flushing? Anyone know what it is?

Another question! What is the visor near the light console on the inside roof close to the windshield? It seems to have a small hole in the middle of it facing the windshield like some sort of sensor. Why would they put in on a moveable visor if it is a sensor(service easy access?)?

hiya,

- gurgling is the fuel pump moving fuel from one side of the tank to the other. quattro-equipped cars have an upside-down "U" shaped tank, so fuel on one side needs to get to the other...

- i'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but the small visor over the center rear view mirror is exactly that... a small sun visor (to cover the gap between mirror and roof where the sun *always* seems to be when your visors are down =) there isn't any sensor on that visor that i'm aware of. maybe just a mold line?

Thanks for the answers! One thing though... turn over the visor and look at it closely. There is a definite small hole in the middle of it facing the windshield.
