Default Told to disable Daytime lights to install HID Lights.

99.5 2.8 A4. Is it normal that my DRL (Daytime Running Lights) are actually my fog lights? I am looking into to getting a H7 conversion HID kit from www.XenonDepot.com

I was told that my vehicle currently shares the same bulb for the low beam and DRL.

Can anyone inform me if this sounds like a good idea (pros/cons), is my car's DRLs supposed to be my low beams (not my fogs) and is this a Xenon conversion kit(I had asked about getting the 6000K conversion kit)?

Thnxs.
