Too much bass! Help me Jeebus! Or some one who is the product of this Jeebus.

It's interesting the cd player does not have too much bass, I noticed yesterday. It sounds very good even at bass set at 0. On the fm radio it's too bassy even at -5. So I don't think it's a coding issue. Unless the fm radio and cd player have different equalization with respect to the different coding options of course. I just want to fix the problem. Any one know what causes the fm radio to have too much bass?

Yes, the cd changer/player in the trunk sounds balanced even at 0 bass, but the fm radio (did not try am) sounds too bassy even at -5. I don't believe any coding changes, however they might have happened, would produce such a ridiculous and useless result.
