AW is consistent and mature but AZ and Vortex do have their useful nuggets.
Good to post here, lurk there.

some dude confirms this will work, then asks a question:
Quick question on that one-piece I see disassembled: HTF did you get into that thing? My understanding is that you cut a notch in the retaining pins, then just bang the ****e out of it until you pop out the spiral pin that holds it in place? I have not done mine yet (reason I'm still running around with the older diff in my car) as I really haven't researched how to get replacement spiral pins..nevermind getting them back in their place.
and this is the response?
be creative
notching the pins is not how we did it...it was very easy though
pm if youd like

JUST POST THE ****ING INFORMATION AND STOP ACTING LIKE A GIGGLING SCHOOL GIRL.

That is the reason I'm running one of the pre-'99 torsens in my 2001. It's easy as pie to get into. There are just 3 bolts that release a "cap" and everything kind of falls apart from there. The '99+ diffs have a one-piece housing and everything is held in by 3 pins that are held in place by an interference fit spiral looking spring.

Drives me nuts when people post up things like, "oh, it's so easy, you can figure it out"... But then 20 people post up questions, and the OP makes no effort to answer them..
