Default Track Guru,,,what suspensions are you guys running?

1) coilover or shocks and springs combo?
2) What are they?
3) Spring rates?
4) How you like the setup?
5) Anyone using springs with spring rate in the 500lbs ballpark?

I'm currently running a set of H&R coilover, and I have a set of Bilstein with Eibach race springs (900lbs) in my garage.

I'm going to swap out the H&R coilover very soon. The thing is, I am going to sell the Eibach race springs and find something not as harsh but still stiff enough for going to the track.

Anyone running Vogtland Club specs springs? Can you guys recommend me any springs?

Default STaSIS Tracksports (sport) 600/750 with 19mm Neuspeed rear bar (Hard) and CPP links

It's leaps and bounds tighter on the track than my old A4 H&R coilovers.

Default Running the Vogtland sport springs/shocks on the GTI

People tell me its a little rough for the street, but I don't really mind it at all. Shocks are made by Bilstein. Don't know the spring rates. I like it, and the 3 instructors that rode in my car at Watkins Glen like it too.

Got quotes like "Damn, you pretty much just point your car where you want it to go, and it goes there", "This setup is really working for you"...

I highly recommend Vogtland stuff.

Default Changes about 1 month ago . . .

. . . Stasis Tracksports (700F/750R), H-sports, Powerflex bushings, rear adjustable links, S4 tie rods, RS4 trans mounts, RS4 motor mounts, APR snub mount, AWE DTS, Stasis center diff mod, and zerk fitting mod. Set up is not too harsh, quite neutral, and corners like a banshee!

are you near Philly? I'd like to feel the difference of the 700# fronts and the center diff.

Default I'd wait to see what the other tuner(s) are going to do first. but, I probably would start

thinking about internals with going any bigger than a GT28RS on pump gas (or GT28R on race gas). I think that's the limit.
