Tranny fluid + filter change. A DIY job? Any advice or words of wisdom?

Im pretty handy but never messed with an auto tranny before. I didnt see a write up and search isnt working right now. Thanks.

i know to check the fluid the car must be running and up to temp etc. as i said if it is within your skill level do it, if not, dealer or good audi mechanic.

I actually didn't do mine since the labor for the cost was only about $120. And when I read up all the techs, it turns out just the parts alone will cost you 30-40 bucks, plus Vag-com, level car...yatta yatta. So I think ATF mebbe something you can just let the mech handles it.
