Default i dont know your skill level but from what i know it is somewhat involved and you need a vag

i know to check the fluid the car must be running and up to temp etc. as i said if it is within your skill level do it, if not, dealer or good audi mechanic.

Default Take another look, numnut

That writeup is for a REAL tranny (3 pedals on the floor), not a wimp stick.

Automatics are quite involved as far as replacing fluid, from what I know.

Default I knew keeping my bookmarks will help in one day =)

<a href="http://www.audipages.com/Tech_Articles/auto_transmission/autotranservicing.html"> ATF change </a>

I actually didn't do mine since the labor for the cost was only about $120. And when I read up all the techs, it turns out just the parts alone will cost you 30-40 bucks, plus Vag-com, level car...yatta yatta. So I think ATF mebbe something you can just let the mech handles it.
