I will only use Maxxus Brand ATf which is $10 at German Auto Parts and has been around for years for Audi and Vw. the Jury is still out in my opinion on Royal purple, I would not use it and Mobil 1 supposed to be ok but! I have heard of trannys Fail using mobil 1. and it's too early to tell on Royal. german Auto has filter fluid and gasket for $100, it is all I would recomend I have been using it since 96 on all my Audi's and Vw trannys that take the g052 when you are looking at the what if's of a $2k tranny replacement

Nice dig up OP. For tranny service kits, we have had fantastic results with Pentosin. We import the oil from Germany specifically for Audi and VW application. A transmission fluid change kit is available here with the gasket, all plugs and seals, filter and Pentosin oil required to complete the job. Pentosin has been a leader in European oil for years with proven results and success in VW and Audi applications.
