Trans grinding from 1st to 2nd
Anyone have any idea why my trans is grinding when i shift from 1st to 2nd? it only happens under really hard acceleration and doesn't happen all the time. any ideas besides me having to rebuild my trans?

if you're grinding gears on high RPM shifts it can be an early sign of a synchro failure
or you're just not depressing the clutch all the way on the shift or engaging the clutch in between shifts.

the 1/2 shift is the hardest...

if it grinds, maybe u should keep double clutching into second
second grinds occasionally for me as well. double clutching is the trick to not grinding to almost any gear for me.
