hey guys, 99 a4 1.8tq tip. now she only has 40k on her and the trans is fine. i plan on keeping the car for a while and i was thinking should the trans ever go on it i would like to put in a 5 speed. has anyone ever done this? if so, how hard is it to do, if it is possible at all. what new parts would you need to do the conversion? or is it just too expensive to be worth doing?

But, I plan on swaping in a RS2 6 speed tranny instead. That is why I havn't botherd to sell my car and buy a five speed.
