Transmission makes strange clicking sound while accelerating in 1st gear only.

Probably have a chipped gear on the transmission main shaft
Its either time for a new trans or time for a new mainshaft....just saw one of these at work with the exact same problem.

i herad......
i heard that it isn't bad, it's just a pain in the *** because it's loud, nothing bad....let me know if u get anything.......or find a fix? without rebuilding a new trans

I had the same issue, got progressively worse with time and moved to other gears...
I just replaced it last week. First gear likely isnt the issue, its probably a missing tooth off the main shaft.
