Transmission Woes :(

The car should run on default mapping if you unplug the mass air flow meter. If its truly blown and no leaks are in the system, the car should drive OK, just with a DTC code for the mass air flow meter being unplugged. I would suggest taking the car to a qualified VW/Audi shop to diagnose what's really going on. No telling what they did when doing the transmission repairs.

He ran the codes on the reader
No codes
Asked him to see history
Nothing
Told him the other shop said the turbo pressure was high
He checked the tps
Came back at 1.9% during idle. He saysnormally its 0% to .5%
He drove the car and it seemed fine to him. He's going to lift the car on sat to look under hood.

Actually the throttle position sensor came at 1.6% during engine idle?
May the culprit be the TPS or MFS,

aparently i have to register the software -
I would hope the original mechanic did that already :who installed the tranny: i believe they are using the VagCom since the codes only come up on the Vag.
