Default Trouble of installing a Blitz turbo timer on an A4

Does anyone know how to installa Blitz turbo timer on a 99.5 A4. After we installed the turbo timer, we have to turned off the engine and turned it back again so that the turbo timer would work. This isn't the way that the turbo timer should work. Does anyone know why and how to install it so that it would perform its function precisely.

That's odd. Did you go by the instructions that James R. posted? All turbo timers are wired up the same. You just have to figure out which colored wire is which. Maybe you mixed up the wires? I can tell you which colored wire is which (if you need it). I had A&R motorworks install the Blitz Dual turbo timer for me (because I wanted it to work w/ my factory alarm).<p>Cori
