Trying to bleed clutch, nothing coming out. Any ideas? Already successfully...

Default Trying to bleed clutch, nothing coming out. Any ideas? Already successfully...

bled the brakes.

Default how are you bleeding?

ive bled the clutch/brakes easily with a motive power bleeder

Default Per the Haynes book: clear hose on bleeder valve into bottle of brake fluid...

helper is stepping on clutch. Nothing flows out when clutch is depressed.

I recommend opening the bleeder valve....

Have your helper pump several times before you open the valve, then have him pump again. Maybe it just needs to build a little pressure first.

Default very bad idea to do the pump method. very bad.

get a proper bleeder or dont do it at all.

Default Pumping did not do it. I will see if Autozone loans those out, too...

My father owns one, but he's in Atlanta & I'm in Connecticut.

Good news is that the brakes work great!
Since the clutch seemed fine un-bled I put everything back together and went out to bed in the new pads and rotors. Sweet!
