trying to install BPV... can't get pipes off of stock BPV..

Default trying to install BPV... can't get pipes off of stock BPV..

removed clamps but the pipes just wont budge... any ideas?

pull harder, or get a small amount of WD40 on there and twist them off...

Default Slide the clamps back...

if they are loose, but still over the part of the hose that's on the BPV, they may prevent the hose from coming off.

As others mentioned...pull, tug, twist, yank...eventually it will come off. There is a sharp ridge on the end of the BPV fitting that makes it a chore to do this...so persistence is the key.

Default sneak a tiny flat head screwdriver in there and break the seal...

then mine slid right off. yanking and pulling didn't do ****

Default yeah i did this too. very carefully!

the smaller the driver/blade, the better. shove it way up.
