the problem is, the bolt has a 12 point socket
and I'm afraid of stripping it. If that happens, perhaps I will go back to wishing that I just left the FW alone as it is.

Several of the Stage III guys run a Stg 2 clutch with the OEM wheel. I ran the Stg 3 clutch with my
OEM wheel until I swapped it for a LWFW and a sprung hub Spec Stg 3 during my 6 speed install. You'll do fine with the OEM wheel and a Stg 2 clutch.
