ever since i got my chip, about 4-5k miles ago. My turbo has whistled very loud. I know that it is common for that to happen after chipping, but when i go out on drives with a few of my friends, they can hear my turbo clearly even with their rice rocket exhaust and their blasting music. While passing a friend on the highway he said it sounded like a high pitched whinning and it was different than it has been before? should i be worried about my turbo going bad? i do not have a boost gauge so i do not know the psi im running, should be 15-16 though. any advice and help would be great. thanks

it could be a simple turbo leak.

very often just one of those hoses get split, especially at the angled portion of the hose.

thats why boost guages help and aren't just fun to watch!

Does it sound siren like? Mine still makes boost but its is starting to screech. Get a boost guage, they're cheap and easy to install...theres no reason why you shouldn't have one
