Default turbo issue

OK heres my issue, I have a t28 system in the car and the wastegate got stuck open due to a broken weld holding it, so i took some advice on gettin a gt2560r to replace it, ok better turbo better spool so i thought ok sounds good. as i started changing it sunday i got the old one out went to put the old discharge plate from my t28 onto my gt28r and to my suprise its a differnt 5 bolt pattern.. has anyone run into this? does anyone have any ideas on how to get from the 5 bolt gt housing to our 3 bolt cat flange? now im really screwed here cause what i thought would be a 6 hour project is gonna make me lose work... but whatever i need to get it fixed anyone have any suggestions? thanks for help in advance

Does the 5 bolt on your new turbo look like this?

Got your PM and you have the wrong turbo, the one you have is for the Nissan cars which have a different 5 bolt outlet.

Stated on Garrett's web site for the GT2860R - 707160 - 5

Turbine housing has a unique "compact" 5-bolt outlet that is not interchangeable with traditional T25 5-bolt outlets

Direct replacement upgrade turbocharger for GT2556R (702987-7) used on Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R

You could look into just swapping out the exhaust housing with the correct one or just sell that turbo and get the correct GT2860.
