Default turbo leaking oil, replacement options??

so, it looks like i will need to replace my turbo soon on a 99.5 a4. currently chipped with apr. question is, what are my options without breaking the bank? i know cheapest way out is to just replace it with a used stock one. but what about k03 sport or k04? worth it? reliability? any feedback would be great!

Default sell it

it is the most beautiful B5 A4 in existance, due to its carefully chosen body parts, and wonderful prior owner, but how bout you sell it and buy a white sti...

or a grey s2k...

or stg 3 it...

or just fix it..

Default no FMIC, no bigger injectors, no upgraded fuel pump...

...Requirements are: cat_back exhaust, 5.0 BAR true Bosch FPR, K04 (obviously), preffered high flow cat (stock here, no problems so far). I think that covers years 97-00.
Hoppen claims 245 bhp and 263 lbs/ft. I just got my ECU back from them. Ran it for just few days, couldn't belive results. First I test drove it after install I was basically laughing@loud to mysel. Nice power. I spike @ 21PSI and hold 19-20. So far go for it. Hope this helps.

Default so we're talking at least $1500 for just the turbo and software?

maybe i'm better off going either stock replacement or K03s and get apr to reprogram my ecu?
