Turbo timer!?

Turbo timer!?
I was told that most of turbo timer would have conflict with alarm system. Is that true??
I am thinking to get a turbo timer, but that info makes me hesitate....... Has anyone put turbo timer in 99A4 and had no problem??? Please tell me what turbo timer you use...... thanks a lot!!!!!

It's been done
I shop in California has done a few (integrated with the factory alarm)...search the archives for that info. Also, last week someone posted a FAQ on installing one and integrating it with the factory alarm, so check a few pages back and you should find it.<p>Regards,

No, it can work perfectly. Forum member James Reedy wrote a FAQ......
on this (link below) I saw it in person and it
worked so sweet! He turned off the car and the
timer started. He then armed the alarm with the
key fob, waited for it to set (the timer was
still running) and stuck his arm in the open
window, sure enough the alarm went off just as it
