Turbo upgrade
looking to upgrade stock 1.8T
Greedspeed has the Neuspeed k04 kit for $1700.
Anyone know where to get a k04 kit at a better price?
Anyone have this kit? how is it?
Is it neccessary to change my exhaust? If so can it wait a couple months? Would like to keep it stock for now.

You'll need (want) K04-specific software, plugs, gaskets, etc. Get a kit - not just the turbo. (m)

go with a kit. it will save you lots of time and headache getting everything matched from the get go. Total Audi Performence out of Florida have kits from stage 1 all the way to a full engine swap.

AWE/GIAC kit is $1700 as well.......
plus you have the opportunity to upgrade from that with the PC-16 file & 310cc injectors.
With any turbo upgrade, you'll want to have a high flow exhaust. Most kits come with some sort of warranty, that will be void if you don't have one.

cheaper than AWE's...GIAC software...
it is not on their website, but they sell it, best to contact them directly...ask for Jeremy and tell them PDXA4 sent you...see the link for their website on my sig...

Then you'll need a healthy $60+ in hardware, gaskets, seals, etc.....
just to install it.
You could run a K04 on K03 software, but to optimize it, you'll want to buy a whole kit. Buying just the software setup after the fact will be spendy.
