TurboSmart Kompact hybrid set-up...

After simply setting them up off the car, then installing them on my buddy's S4 & them working just fine, I can't get mine to work properly save my life. I've followed TurboSmart's on-line directions - start @ full soft @ the mark & go 1/2 turns 'til all's well. No fvcking luck. No CELs, but sputtering, stalling, crappy throttle response... or not holding boost, fluttering, etc. It's either too much or too little.
I'm ready to stick it up Momentum's ***... beings it came w/ no set-up instructions or hose adapters or clamps. Yay Waterfest vendors - get your sh*t together, folks. You all only had a whole friggin' *year* to prepare.
Anyway... I'm hoping this one didn't come w/ the wrong spring installed - mine's green. So... anyone else have a bear of a time setting theirs up? If not, what "simple" procedure did you use?
I feel like I took an overdose of stupid pills. Thanx in advance.

I have a turbosmart dual port...
It's working fine..
no CEL, drives like it did with the DV, and the VAG logs look good.
I didn't have any problems setting it up. I just followed the directions. (I think the instructions are online)

Cool... thanx. That's about exactly opposite of TS's directions (m)...
TurboSmart says start @ full soft - @ the o-ring groove - *then* go 1/2 turns 'til it runs right. It'd take all day to go 1/2 turns all the way to 2.5 turns from full tight. I just put my 710N back on before reading this. I'll go back & give it a shot. Thanx again, Mat.
