Default ughhh. so my friend and i replaced the coolant flange, now the car is gushing w/ coolant...

and overheating....but now we can't figure where its coming from. Its def not coming from the coolant flange, and we checked everything we disconnected....and everything seems tight.

Also my heat doesn't seem to be blowing hot air. Any ideas on what the problem may be?

You should of only had to disconnect the flange itself. What else did you disconnect? Did you bleed?

Default the oil lines needed to be removed in order to take out the flange....but nothing that I took out...

should have caused it to leak aside from the flange (which was dry). I'm lost at this point. We topped off the expansion tank w/ coolant/water after we buttoned everything up and let it run for a bit. It was only when I drove it (1/2mile) before the coolant light came on, draining the system.

Did you seat the heater core hose all the way on. I made the same mistake and lost all my coolant...

Default yea i tugged at it to make sure it was in there. Actually I felt the area w/ my hands...

to see if there was any coolant that may have seaped out from there....and seemed dry as well. If anything, there was more coolant on that same hose closer to the heater core. I'm baffled, but then again it started to get dark out.

Default Looks like there's still air trapped inside your coolant system....

air expands and contracts, while coolant(water & anti-freeze) do not.

Where there's air, the coolant cant get too!

This causes hot spots, and makes the air expand, to where it pushes out the coolant!

Coolant gets into the area's of trapped air, but not in enough volume to prevent the coolant from turning to steam, and forcing out coolant.
