Unable to ID loose stereo wire from bently diagrams

I put the stock concert stereo back into my 99' A4. The CD changer is not being recognized (gets power, and used to work fine).
I bet it is because of this light gauge solid brown wire coming out of the main radio wiring harness. It's broken, and just sticking out, and I Can't figure out where it goes!!!
The radio connectors seem to have all their wires in place (per the connector diagrams - K diag, illumin, etc.)
I've tried, but can't figure out the Bently diagrams to determine what this solid brown, light gauge (not main ground) wire is.
Please please... any help?
