I just bought a 96 A4 Quattro and I'm encountering a problem I haven't seen on the archive. Whenever I drive with the windows open, with no heat or airconditioning on, I feel hot air coming up from the floor area. The fan is not on. I've asked my dealer but he says this is "normal" since the Audi's engine runs hot. Does anybody else have this problem (it's summer here in New York and the car gets pretty hot)? Any solutions (other than running air conditioner)? Thanks

I have the same problem in my 96 A4. I just turn on my air conditioning. The engine does run a little hot, so I guess that's the warm air we are experiencing.
