Recap went out to the car the other morning -2F and neither exterior front door handle would release the latch to open the door. The door lock buttons worked as normal, the interior handle would open the door without any problems, but exterior would not work. The best I can figure is that there is moisture in the mechanism. Since I had to replace the drivers door speaker, I pulled the door card this AM and sprayed just the drivers door latch and all the linkage with WD-40 to displace any moisture. I will see when we get the cold weather again if/when the passengers door handle freezes if the drivers exterior handle will continue to work.
Lucky me, the warm up came with 10" of snow.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2780182.phtml">my previous post</a></li></ul>
