<center><img src="http://www.s4biturbo.com/files/bosch_side.jpg"></center><p>i replaced the vacuum line going from the DV to the connectors underneath the intake. the boost was still 10psi max and at some point did go down to 4psi max! i checked the replaced vacuum hose and nothing came loose.
anyways the vacuum hose was original audi and was so brittle and torn up after i had taken it out that i was surprised that that thing even held anything at all. rips and tears all over the thing. it was a 3 foot section of hose to be replaced and went fairly quickly, it would say like 10 minute job.

i didnt pull the DV out but will do so during the course of the next week and maybe get with kevin and swap his one in if he lets me do that. in case its not the DV i will have to do some more searching into whats going on.

i noticed that my cruise control is working again though so that was a nice side effect of the vacuum hose replacement.
