I have a 97 A4 1.8tqm without the heatshield for the oil line near the turbo. As I understand it the heatshield and oil lines were upgraded in later models. Does anyone have the part numbers for these and anything else that goes with it. Also is this something that you can install yourself or should I have the dealer or some other professional do it. thanks

Then I have fond memories of that. When I installed a upgraded line for a turbo upgrade. I had a hell of a time screwing that in. Cause it's under the intake manifold. And the heatshield just sits above the manifold if that's the one you're talking about? Shouldn't be to hard. But if you're not sure, get someone else to do it. Look in the engine bay and follow the oil line out of the turbo to where it ends. And see what you think? As for part numbers I can't help you. But someone might have them, or your local dealer. Or clairparts.com
