Upgrading the speakers in my A4 (cross-post from Audio Fourm)...
Ok guys, I need your help.
I have a '98 A4 with the non-Bose/Delta stereo system. I'm planning to keep the head unit (b/c I like having the display in the dash), add an amp and upgrade the speakers. I took a look at the wiring harness that attatches to the rear-driver's side speaker and realized that I couldn't figure out the wiring colors.
Can anyone identify which wire is which? (Rt, Lf, ground, remote amp power on, etc...) I know that the rear left speaker
has the amp attatched, so some of thoes wires belong to the amp but how should I connect the stock wires to my new
speakers and/or aftermarket amp? Can I? Or maybe I need to be asking Should I?
