I couldn't agree more, love mine. I ended up cutting it down 5/8 inch more=even better IMO.

Default Is that comparing to anything??

i talked to mandeep(imawesome) about this a little while ago. When he got the new car, he decided to buy a new/different short shifter just to see how "awesome" the v&s really is... well he likes his b&m much more than his v&s. He said it has a much shorter shifter and fairly smooth.

I was intending to get a v&s untill he told me about the result with the b&m. From what i have also heard from other peoples with v&s is that it needed to be a little shorter throw, but that is pretty subjective and opionated.

Anyways..my b&m will be here in the next week or two : )

Default Yes....

My original A4 was the proto-type vehicle for the UUC short shifter as well as the stratmosphere ball bearing shifter. I have had experiences with the B&M, toyed with DieselGeek and a few others. I like V&S the best. B&M felt too notchy for me...it *felt* shorter...but IMO one wouldnt be able to shift it faster than the V&S.

Default Nice...

sure did shut me up ; ). I have drove my buddys WRX many times, he has b&m installed and i like it a lot. But i think he needs to do some adjusting to it. Maybe some of the redline tranny fluid i have sitting out in my garage will help smooth out the shifting : )

Default i'm definatley faster with the b&m then with the v&s.. however...

there were a few flaws with the install on mine. Twentyvalve can agree to this. So i won't rule out the v&s because maybe with a proper install it would have worked better. My b&m is a very nice shifter and extremely crisp... no question if i'm in gear or not.. i lub it.
